This is a interesting and delightful site dedicated to the Baumbach family name. Ran across this via an email from William J. Baumbach II. Needless to say, I was intrigued as plumbing and family history normally don't occupy the same sentence, but...see for yourself! This site was the inspiration for adding a not yet proved allied family page to this site.
The Dorris Family Homepage has several surnames which potentially will match with various lines of our family, Buxkemper and Kalina to name two. Currently in communication with this family to comfirm whether this is another 'allied family'.
